12 Desirable Qualities we Train your Children in a Summer Program after a Year-long School’s Break

Summer breaks have begun. Majority of the children look forward to this break to get rid of schooling, everyday homework, boarding early morning school buses, tiresome travel to school for hours, stick to deadlines and many such reasons.

The previous academic year has never made a child realize all these difficulties and made their life very easy.

The lessons being learnt from home during the pandemic has altered the usual timelines of many children. Children used to switch on their tablet/laptop when the teacher teaches and keeps it in muted mode. Some will be having their breakfast, some taking a bath, a few playing their favourite games on cell phones/ sleeping on the bed, and a few of them will be attentive. So the entire year of schooling for some children has become a vacation, but playing with electronic gadgets. This habit has made children getting addicted to electronic devices, which is undesirable.

Children used to be happy in the break times chit-chatting with their friends, jumping, singing, giggling, shouting and running in the class compared to getting tied to a computer.

Thus, the summer break should remove this addiction to electronic gadgets and offer them their freedom. But this will not become possible until school begins and physical classes are conducted. We at GSGW (Get Set Go World) have come out with a 7-day long summer program that enriches these activities and giving the children their freedom through Zoom meets.
